The Colorado Lacrosse Foundation (CLF), the Colorado chapter for US Lacrosse, was proud to sponsor sending CWOLA women’s umpire, Allison Bailey to the 2012 US Lacrosse Convention in Philadelphia, PA. Bailey’s name was selected at random by the CLF.

Bailey spent her time at the convention by attending sessions led by some of the most seasoned officials in the game today. “...Getting the opportunity to learn how these umpires... ...call and manage a game has given me new insight and more confidence...” said Bailey.

When asked to comment, CLF President, Amy Lane said,“I was impressed with all of the comments that people wrote in when submitting their names on why they wanted to attend. I wish we could have sent everyone but am pleased that CLF was able to sponsor one person to go to the National Convention.”

Bailey plans on using her experience to help educate her fellow umpires as the upcoming spring season approaches.
