In the spirit of providing more lacrosse opportunities in the state of Colorado, we worked with the Highlands Ranch Rec centers to create a high school box lacrosse league.

When: 11/21 (next week) to 12/20
What: 6 games, single elimination tournament (see flyer for game times)
Cost: $71/player
Teams: Minimum 7 players, maximum 10 players
Coaches: Must register with HRCA (see flyer)
Field: Multi-purpose indoor box field (not turf)
Rules: Indoor rules apply
NOTE: Since this is the first season, we have not broken out Varsity/JV levels. I would expect this first season to be more as a learning experience than pure competition. We can make adjustments in the season if we need to.

Goalies: Let’s work together on sharing borrowed hockey goalie equipment (or maybe even goalies if necessary). We shouldn’t let this be a deterrent to getting this started.

Reversible Pinnies: Please bring your own. We didn’t have time to get these coordinated.

Pre-Season Clinic: 11/17 4-7 pm.

Please have your players register quickly. We have currently set times for a 6 team division, so first come, first served. We will work to try and accommodate any extra teams that want to participate.

Come out and play the up-and-coming game of indoor lacrosse. This winter league is great for conditioning and preparing high school lacrosse players for the upcoming outdoor season. The league will consist of 2 games a week, for a total of 6 games. There will also be single elimination playoffs, concluding with a championship game. Teams will be made of 9th through 12th graders, and team size is limited ten players. The league will run from November 17th, 2008 through December 21st , 2008.
