Director of Lacrosse/Head Coach

Position: Adams State College (NCAA Division II) is seeking applications for the position of Director of Lacrosse. The position involves coaching, organizing, directing and administrating the men’s and women’s programs. The successful applicant will serve as head coach for the men’s and women’s programs. Other responsibilities include recruitment, practice/skill development, scheduling, public/community relations, fundraising through summer camps and budget management as well as other duties assigned. A primary emphasis is placed on the ability to recruit and maintain squad sizes as determined by the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications: Ability to perform the requirements of the position; two years of demonstrated successful lacrosse coaching experience with collegiate experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree required. Knowledge and willingness to learn and then exhibit a strict adherence to NCAA, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, university and department rules and regulations as well as a solid commitment to student achievement in academics. The successful candidate will be a person of high ethical standards.

Salary: $30,000 plus a competitive benefits package. The position is a 12 month at-will appointment
