DENVER – University of Denver men’s lacrosse head coach Bill Tierney will join ESPN analysts Joe Beninati and Quint Kessenich in the booth during the Denver Outlaws’ final home game this Saturday, July 25 against the Long Island Lizards. Face-off is schedule for 7 p.m. at INVESCO Field at Mile High.

Coach Tierney will be in the booth during the second quarter to touch on his move out West and the growth of the sport in the Rocky Mountain Region. Airing of the game will be on July 28 at 11 a.m. on ESPN 2

The Outlaws (7-2) guaranteed a playoff spot this past weekend as they defeated Washington 11-8, after dropping a one-goal decision to Boston before the All-Star break. Pioneer men’s assistant coach Matt Brown, along with Outlaws’ Drew Westervelt and Brendan Mundorf combined for six goals in the win.
