This past weekend the Aspen Lacrosse Club sent 14 teams to Denver to compete in one of the largest weekend lacrosse tournaments in the world. And they didn’t come back empty-handed.
More than 300 boys and girls representing Aspen and ranging in age from youths to high school students competed in the 2009 Warrior-Brine Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Jamboree, which hosted 329 teams this year. Two teams from Aspen came home with championships and two came back with second-place finishes.
