For the second time in three seasons, the prize eluded the grasp of the Denver Outlaws.
Jeff Zywicki scored six goals to power the Rochester Rattlers to a 16-6 victory against the Outlaws on Sunday in the Major League Lacrosse championship game, witnessed by 8,481 at Harvard Stadium in west Boston’s Allston neighborhood.
The Outlaws also lost in the MLL championship game two years ago, 23-12 to the Philadelphia Barrage in Carson, Calif.
