Second semifinal Saturday features familiar foes; scouts cite Outlaws’ Langtry, Riptide’s Huntley as keys

The Denver Outlaws are a fashionable pick to win the 2008 Major League Lacrosse championship. They did, after all, draw nearly 11,000 fans per game at Mile High, and won the Western Conference with unmatched flare.
The Los Angeles Riptide, meanwhile, has managed to get younger and reload for the future without sacrificing the present.
Something’s gotta give Saturday, when the Outlaws and Riptide meet at 3 p.m. in the second MLL semifinal at Harvard Stadium.
