Fans of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) will have an unprecedented opportunity to watch all of the hard-hitting action of the MLL this summer. The premier professional outdoor lacrosse league and ESPN360.com have announced that every MLL game this season will be streamed live on ESPN’s signature broadband network. Additionally, games will be archived and available for on-demand replay for a period of time after they are completed.
This includes all 60 regular season games, July’s All-Star Game, both Semi-Final match-ups, and the NB ZIP Championship Game, for a total of 64 Major League Lacrosse games available on ESPN’s broadband network in 2008.
Major League Lacrosse and Head2Head Sports will again partner to bring fans the excitement of fantasy lacrosse this season for the third consecutive season.
Participants in the MLL Fantasy Challenge score points based on the on-field performance of their chosen team of MLL players. near real-time scoring updates will allow Fantasy Challenge participants the opportunity to track their team’s progress on-line following the conclusion of each MLL game.
The scoring for the 2008 Fantasy Challenge will follow the same method that was implemented last season, which saw the introduction of a new scoring system which also took into account defense, face-offs, and goaltending to provide for a more realistic and exciting fantasy lacrosse experience.
The Eighth Annual MLL Collegiate Draft will take place on Wednesday, May 28th, 2008 at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and will air live on ESPN-U beginning at 8:30PM. The draft will follow the Warrior Major League Challenge, an invitational event featuring the top 40 senior lacrosse players from all divisions of NCAA play. Attendance at the Warrior Major League Challenge and Collegiate Draft is by invitation only. However, any graduating senior is eligible to be selected in the Draft.
Go-Fast Colorado Lacrosse Camps and Outlaws Nation have teamed up to bring you the best lacrosse camp experience in the state. This year we offer two day camps for boys
(June 24-27 and July 8-11) as well as a girl’s clinic on Monday, July 7th.
Denver Outlaws players and top college players from Syracuse, Johns Hopkins, UMASS, Hofstra, Hobart and Virginia will teach you how to play your best.
“Go-Fast Colorado Lacrosse Camps are teaching camps” said camp director Jon Barocas. “We keep the camper to coach ratio at 6-1. That way we know our campers are learning properly. We have some of the best players and coaches in the country at our camps. Our campers get better and better every day. Plus, it’s fun!”
For six years, Colorado Lacrosse Camps have been held in the heart of Denver at
All-City Stadium. Campers are divided into appropriate age and skill groups. Ages range from 5-17.
Snacks and lunch are provided for each camper every day.
