NDP Tournament of Champions Preview: Team Colorado
Same name. Same talent pool. Same objective. Different faces.
For the second consecutive year, Team Colorado is headed to the Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions after wins in the Dick’s Sporting Goods Colorado Cup and the Warrior Vail Colorado Lacrosse Tournament. But the changes are dramatic…and evident.
New head coach Mitch Brin takes the reins of the state’s top club program. Along with Brin comes a youth movement.
“This is a much younger team than we’ve had in the past, including four freshmen [try-outs were in the spring] that are really good.” comments Brin.
