CARLSON RE-SIGNS WITH MAMMOTH
The Colorado Mammoth re-signed left-handed transition player Nick Carlson to a three-year contract on Monday.
Carlson, who joined the Mammoth in 2004, set career highs in 2006 with 14 goals, 15 assists and 29 points for the Mammoth’s NLL championship team. He played only eight games last season due to injuries, tallying three goals and four assists.
“Despite injuries last year, Nick has been a big asset to our team and has contributed to a lot of Mammoth wins,” Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said. “We look forward to having him around the organization for years to come.”
Carlson, a 6-foot, 196-pound native of Nanaimo, British Columbia, played college lacrosse at Limestone (S.C.) and was the fifth overall selection in the 2002 NLL entry draft by the New York Saints.
