Outlaws to face Riptide in exhibition

The Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse play a free exhibition Saturday at 1 p.m. against the Los Angeles Riptide at Invesco Field at Mile High. The season begins on May 19 at 7 p.m. at Invesco against the San Francisco Dragons.

Mammoth captain Gavin Prout was named to the NLL all-pro second team. Prout ranked fourth in the NLL with 59 assists and scored 30 goals.

University of Denver sophomore attackman Joey Murray, senior defender David Hahn and junior defender Rory Shepard were named to the All-Great Western Lacrosse League first team. Also named to the first team was Griffin Nevitt, a sophomore attacker from Air Force
