OUTLAWS OPEN TRAINING CAMP APRIL 28
Denver Holds Three Weekends of Training Camp in Preparation for the 2007 Season
Denver, CO (April 24, 2007) – The Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) open training camp on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Kent Denver School. Outlaws training camp runs the next three weekends, with the last two weekends of practice taking place at the Denver Broncos training facility. Training camp practices will run twice daily on Saturdays, both in the morning and afternoon, and only in the morning on Sundays. Training camp is open to the media. The first weekend’s training camp is open to the public, as is the May 12th exhibition game vs. the Los Angeles Riptide at INVESCO Field.
This weekend’s Outlaws training camp practices will take place at the Kent Denver School. The remaining two sessions will be held at the Denver Broncos training facility. For each of the three Saturdays, The Outlaws hit the field from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the morning session, and again in the afternoon, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thirty-five players are invited to training camp. Denver must reduce its roster to twenty-three active players and three practice squad players by May 15. The Outlaws return twenty players from last year’s Western Conference Championship team.
On Saturday, May 12, the Outlaws will host a scrimmage against the Los Angeles Riptide at INVESCO Field at Mile High. The scrimmage will be open to the public and free. Media Day will begin at noon, followed by the scrimmage at 1 p.m. and a time to meet the players when the game concludes.

The Outlaws open the 2007 season at home against the San Francisco Dragons on Saturday, May 19.
