Koll Selected for NCAA National Leadership Conference
Junior men’s lacrosse player to represent DU

DENVER – Junior attackman Brett Koll (Fort Collins, Colo.) has been selected to represent the University of Denver at the 2007 NCAA National Leadership Conference to be held May 27 through 31 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Koll was selected from a pool of 1,308 nominations from 330 institutions. From the list of institutions that met all established guidelines and representatives from the Division I, II and III national Student-Athlete Advisory Committees, a total of 356 National Leadership Conference.

Koll played in DU’s first five games of the season before missing the next eight games due to a foot injury and returned last weekend against Ohio State. Koll has 12 points in those six contests.

On the field, the Pioneers wrap-up their home 2007 season on Saturday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. against instate GWLL rival Air Force. The contest will mark senior day for 11 Pioneer seniors and be televised on FSN-Rocky Mountain. The game can also be followed on www.denverpioneers.com.
